Toronto-based agtech company Vive Crop Protection has raised $10 million in an oversubscribed financing round to accelerate the rollout of its Precision Chemistry solutions and scale its High-Velocity Commercialization Engine across North America.

The round saw participation from existing investors Emmertech, iSelect, and BDC Capital, with a major new investment from Farm Credit Canada (FCC) through its investment arm, FCC Capital. The funding will enable Vive to advance its product pipeline, expand market reach in the United States and Canada, and deliver next-generation crop protection technologies that improve farm efficiency and resilience.

FCC’s contribution forms part of its $2 billion commitment to bolster Canada’s agri-food and agtech ecosystem by 2030, aimed at driving productivity, innovation, and climate resilience within the sector.

“We are honoured to have Farm Credit Canada join our mission alongside the continued support of Emmertech, iSelect, and BDC Capital,” said Darren Anderson, co-founder and CEO of Vive Crop Protection. “This investment validates the impact we’re making on growers’ profitability and efficiency. It will allow us to fast-track innovative solutions that bring real value to farmers across North America.”

Adam Smalley, Managing Director of FCC Capital, said the partnership aligns with FCC’s mission to empower Canadian growers through innovation. “We’re excited to support Vive as they develop more practical, impactful tools that increase productivity and protect against the effects of climate change,” he said. “Helping farmers access advanced crop protection ensures a sustainable food supply for the country.”

Founded on its patented Allosperse Delivery Technology, Vive Crop Protection’s Precision Chemistry platform optimises both conventional and biological crop inputs for better performance from the jug to the field. The company said the new capital would help ensure that growers have greater access to its time-saving and efficiency-boosting solutions across the continent.
