Fork & Good, a New Jersey-based cultivated meat company, has announced the acquisition of Orbillion Bio, a move that consolidates their technologies for producing cultivated pork and beef.
The combined company will operate across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, maintaining production at Fork & Good’s pilot facility in Jersey City and Orbillion’s UAE-based subsidiary.
The acquisition unites two complementary technological platforms, with Fork & Good specializing in cultivating pork muscle cells and Orbillion developing scalable methods for beef cell cultivation.
Together, the merged entity now holds what it claims to be the largest intellectual property portfolio in the cultivated meat industry, strengthening its global leadership in sustainable protein innovation.
“This acquisition strengthens our market position across regions,” said Niya Gupta, CEO of Fork & Good. “We’re already working with customers in North America and East Asia and are excited to bring Orbillion’s relationships in Europe and the Middle East online. We’re not asking food manufacturers to wait 5–10 years for solutions—we’re helping them build resilience today.”
The newly merged company will focus on mid-scale production to validate cost efficiency before expanding, providing functional cultivated meat ingredients while maintaining clean label standards.
