Africa’s agricultural transformation is underway, and at the heart of this change is the Precision Agriculture Incubation Program (PAIP)—a revolutionary capacity-building initiative by Precision Field Academy.
This youth-focused agritech program is designed to bridge the gap between traditional farming and modern, tech-driven agricultural systems by equipping the next generation of farmers, agripreneurs, and agricultural professionals with cutting-edge digital tools and knowledge.
PAIP is not just another training scheme. It’s a launchpad for tech-oriented farmers, empowering young people with skills in drone technology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and Internet of Things (IoT). Participants receive hands-on experience and mentorship in areas that include precision farming, digital mapping, satellite monitoring, data-driven agronomy, and smart resource management.
One of PAIP’s most compelling goals is to raise a new wave of Agricultural Remote Pilots—young professionals trained to deploy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for surveying, spraying, monitoring, and data collection on farms.

The concept of PAIP is rooted in a belief that youth are not just the future—they are the present. By leveraging their digital fluency and entrepreneurial spirit, the program aligns them with global agritech trends and equips them to drive food security, sustainability, and innovation across Africa.
From theoretical training in AI to practical application of drone spraying on test fields, PAIP has transformed lives in previous cohorts. Graduates like Mahmood Ademoye testify to gaining multiple global certifications while building lasting networks with other like-minded youths passionate about agricultural reform.
Cohort 3 of PAIP is now open for registration, with training locations across Nigeria, including FUNAAB, FUTMinna, and Rivers State University. While virtual masterclasses with a global faculty are available free of charge worldwide, on-site training requires a commitment fee to ensure active participation.
Participants must be 18 years and above, passionate about agriculture, and willing to commit to a rigorous training journey. Whether you are a graduate, undergraduate, or already working in the agri-space, this is your chance to future-proof your agricultural career with globally relevant digital skills.
The PAIP is more than a program—it’s a movement of innovation, inclusion, and impact, offering Africa’s youth the tools they need to lead in the digital agriculture revolution.
