  • The farm has a large capacity of 140,000 square feet, with 100,000 square feet dedicated to production and 40,000 square feet for processing and packing.
  • The facility utilises a soil-based growing system and is designed to use 90% less water and 1/100th of the land typically used in traditional farming.
  • The new facility will create more than 100 jobs in San Antonio, including positions in horticulture, tech, and more.
  • The farm will grow over ten different crops, including organic herbs like basil, cilantro, and mint, as well as organic salad greens like spinach, arugula, and romaine lettuce.

San Antonio, Texas – Soli Organic Inc., the nation’s leading indoor agriculture company, has launched its latest facility in San Antonio’s Brooks Community, marking a significant milestone in the state’s agricultural history.

The 140,000 square-foot soil-based vertical farm, the first of its kind in San Antonio, promises to bring fresh, organic produce to the region while creating economic opportunities for the local community.

The facility utilises cutting-edge technology, including automation, advanced lighting, and precision organic fertigation, to cultivate a diverse range of crops such as herbs, leafy greens, and other organic produce.

The soil-based growing system allows for efficient use of water and land, significantly reducing the environmental impact compared to traditional farming methods.

The new facility is expected to create over 100 jobs, including high-wage, high-skill positions in horticulture and manufacturing, contributing to the economic vitality of the local community.
