The MEST Africa Challenge 2024 is now accepting applications. It offers a significant opportunity for agricultural technology (AgriTech) entrepreneurs in West Africa.
This competition, organized by the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) Africa in partnership with the Norwegian Embassy, aims to identify and support startups tackling critical agricultural challenges in the region.
The winning startup will be awarded $50,000 in equity funding and gain access to MEST’s extensive global network of mentors, investors, and industry experts. This support will help accelerate growth and expand reach.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Early-stage technology companies, no older than three years.
- Minimum $5,000 in monthly recurring revenue with consistent revenue over the past six months.
- Less than $1 million in cumulative funding was raised.
- At least two founding team members.
- Preferred registration in Delaware.
- Open to various business models, including B2B, B2C, B2B2C, and B2G.
- Ability to pitch in English.
