Leventis Foundation Nigeria (LFN) has announced the Agricultural Youth Summit 2025, a flagship event aimed at empowering young Nigerians through agribusiness innovation and targeted capacity-building.
The summit, themed “Building Youth & Agripreneurs’ Resilience for Agribusiness through Targeted Upskilling and Innovative Agri-Finance Mechanisms,” is scheduled to take place on November 6, 2025, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Organised by Leventis Foundation Nigeria in collaboration with key partners in the agricultural and financial sectors, the event seeks to equip young agripreneurs with the skills, tools, and funding opportunities necessary to thrive in the evolving agribusiness landscape.
A highlight of the summit will be a grant application opportunity for participating youths, aimed at supporting innovative agribusiness projects and promoting sustainable enterprise models. The Foundation said the grants are part of its broader mission to drive inclusive growth and youth participation in Nigeria’s agricultural transformation agenda.
The 2025 summit builds on LFN’s ongoing initiatives, including its partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) established in 2021. The collaboration focuses on training corps members in modern and sustainable agricultural practices under the NYSC Agribusiness Programme, preparing them for self-employment and agribusiness leadership.
In addition, Leventis Foundation recently hosted the LFN Alumni Network Reception at its Abuja headquarters to strengthen ties among graduates of its agricultural training programmes and expand collaboration across value chains.
