The 2024 AgriTech Hackathon and Venture Building Program, supported by FMO, is set to identify and nurture early-stage agritech businesses across Africa.
This initiative, led by FCMB, aims to foster growth within the agricultural sector by providing support to agritech companies tackling industry challenges.
The program features a hackathon to help participants develop their ideas and a venture building segment where selected teams will receive funding, mentorship, and support to scale their solutions.
Implemented by Heave Ventures, the program spans six months, comprising a three-month hackathon, six weeks of venture building sprints, and culminates in an Investor Day and Documentary premiere.
