Swiss agtech firm Ecorobotix has raised $150 million to accelerate the global rollout of its AI-powered Plant-by-Plant™ technology, a system designed to transform sustainable crop care by treating each plant individually with ultra-high precision.
The funding, secured through its Series C ($45 million in 2024) and Series D ($105 million in 2025) rounds—will also support the company’s upcoming product reveal at Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover this November.
Ecorobotix’s breakthrough technology identifies and treats plants using an ultra-targeted spray footprint just a few centimetres wide. This method allows farmers to cut pesticide use by up to 95% while maintaining crop health and yield, reducing costs, and ensuring compliance with increasingly strict environmental regulations.
“Our goal is to make farming more efficient, sustainable, and profitable,” said Dominique Mégret, CEO of Ecorobotix. “These new investments enable us to scale faster, expand into new crop types, and bring more of our advanced algorithms to market. Thanks to our investors’ trust, we are one step closer to ensuring better-quality food for the world.”
The Series D round was led by Highland Europe, with participation from the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF) and McWin Capital Partners. The funding follows growing demand for precision agriculture solutions as farmers grapple with rising input costs, labour shortages, and the pressure to produce more with less.
At Agritechnica, Ecorobotix will unveil its latest innovation, which the company says will set a new global benchmark for precision crop protection.
