The project has received a substantial boost of $500,000 from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC).
The 2,400-square-foot greenhouse will incorporate cutting-edge technology, including a high-tech greenhouse envelope and a non-refrigerant-based heating system. These innovations are designed to optimize plant growth conditions and reduce energy consumption, paving the way for year-round, sustainable agriculture in Northern Ontario.
