The Opportunity

FastForward has partnered with GIZ’s Scaling digital agriculture innovations through start-ups (SAIS) to incubate and validate commercial sustainable livestock tech ventures in 1 their earliest days. We’re looking for startups that are developing innovative solutions to address challenges across the entire livestock value chain, including:

• Inputs: Feed, supplements, and other essential resources
• Feeding: Efficient feed management and distribution
• Storage: Innovative storage solutions for livestock products
• Genetics: Advanced breeding techniques and genetic improvement
• Breeding: Optimized breeding practices and technologies
• Vaccines: Development and distribution of effective vaccines
• Aquaculture: Sustainable aquaculture practices and technologies
• Blue Economy: Innovations in fisheries and marine resources
• Governance: Technology solutions for livestock governance and regulation
• Finance: Financial solutions for livestock farmers and businesses
