An annual competition seeking innovative and impactful agripreneurs aged 18-35 from across Africa.
It’s part of the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF).
The goal is to empower young Africans to drive innovation and transformation in the agrifood sector.

Who is eligible?
Applicants must:
Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of submission (by June 10, 2025).
Be a citizen of an African Union member country.
Be a founder or co-founder of a legally registered venture operating in Africa. The venture must be registered by June 10, 2025.
Have a business that plays a role in the agrifood sector or supports its development through innovation or process improvement.
This includes various areas from primary production to technology solutions and innovative finance within the agrifood system.
Demonstrate that their venture is designed to be financially sustainable.
What are the prizes?
Two grand prizes of US$50,000 each will be awarded to the most outstanding male and female-led agribusinesses.
An additional US$60,000 in Impact Awards will recognize businesses excelling 1 in areas like technology, innovation, nutrition, climate resilience, gender equity, and job creation
