The AGCO Agriculture Foundation has partnered with non-profit Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) to support young U.S. farmers and agri-food entrepreneurs with training, mentorship and seed funding.
Under the three-year initiative, the Foundation will provide CNFA with a $450,000 grant to fund the Youth AgriChampion Program, which will select 30 participants aged 18–40 for their work in digital agriculture, climate resilience and agri-food innovation.
Each year, 10 AgriChampions will receive leadership training, technical skills development, mentorship and a share of $45,000 in seed funding to launch or expand projects aimed at building sustainable agri-food systems in their communities.
Louisa Parker-Smith, AGCO’s Vice President of Global Corporate Sustainability, said the program aligns with the Foundation’s mission to “sustainably feed the world” by empowering young agricultural leaders to bring “impact-driven solutions to life.”
CNFA President and CEO Alan Pieper said the effort would help strengthen U.S. agriculture by boosting food security, expanding access to nutritious food and creating jobs, particularly in underserved areas.
The program will run in three cohorts over three years, with AgriChampions engaging in a six-month leadership track that encourages collaboration, networking and shared learning.
